First time i came across the Hamburg based label «Dial Records» as an active DJ in the late 2000’s, i immediately fell in love with their catalogue of artists like Lawrence, Carsten Jost, Roman Flügel, John Roberts, Pantha Du Prince or Efdemin. But the sound made only half of my fascination. Their records always appeared in stunning artworks, making Dial also aesthetically an outstanding music label in the scene. As label owner David Lieske one day asked me to create the graphics for his new album, a dream literally came true. In my design process, i kept the DNA of Dial with the heritage of former graphic designer, Till Sperrle in mind, to create an original yet unseen Dial artwork.
